A Waldorf-Inspired LifeWays Parent-Child Program

~ a safe and nurturing place to play ~

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mother of three children.  My oldest son is grown and off on his own.  My husband and I were also blessed with boy/girl twins!
I feel grateful to be able to stay at home with them and personally
nurture them early in their lives.  They just turned 4!

In my life, I worked in the travel industry for about 12 years.
This enabled me to see many places and meet people of various cultures.
  I eventually realized that I had to follow my calling, which was twofold;
 education and nature.

I became the Animal Education Coordinator/Naturalist
and back-up Marine Mammal Trainer at a small native wildlife animal education center.  I enjoyed giving educational programs at the center and traveling to schools with all types of animals.  I was able to give the children an up-close-and-personal encounter with animals that they may not have ever seen before.  I received great joy in seeing their sense of wonder and amazement as they met the animals and learned about the natural world.

My education background includes studies at Cape Cod Community College,
Elms College (Art Education) and Bridgewater State College (Art).

I recently graduated from LifeWays, an Early Childhood and Human Growth & Development training program.  This Waldorf-inspired program inspired me to create this home-based program.  It is a nourishing and nurturing program, and I feel compelled to share it with others.

I am currently enrolled in the Foundation Studies program
through The Center for Anthroposophy.

I have also attended many Waldorf related workshops and conferences,
and am an active member of WECAN
(Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America).

For the last year, I have been a substitute teacher in the
Early Childhood Program at the Waldorf School of Cape Cod,
which continues to be a wonderful and enriching experience.
I aspire to become a Kindergarten teacher one day within the Waldorf school system.
