About Our Life at GnomeHollow
We believe in the strength of all things natural and take a holistic
approach towards many things in our lives. We are more traditional than
most families in this modern day and age. We bring many elements of
wholesome and basic living into our home life;
we grind our own grain for flour,
make our own butter and yogurt,
bake bread, and make soup weekly, and are TV-free.
We eat organic and whole foods. We light a beeswax candle with every
meal, and share a blessing. We use linen napkins and eat from pottery
that was made by either my husband or myself. We grow what food we
can ourselves, and buy locally what we cannot.
We use only biodegradable and non-toxic cleaners in our home, and keep
an organic yard, free of pesticides and fertilizers. Our yard is protected on
all sides either by picket fence or by natural barriers.
GnomeHollowPlayGarden is located in a safe
neighborhood in Mashpee, MA.
We love our home and our yard, and consider it to be a special place.
